Inland Manufacturing T-30 Sniper Carbine

The new Inland T30 Sniper carbine is based on the T3 Sniper rifle that was developed by Inland in 1944. The original T3 was an M1 carbine with a modified receiver with a welded on scope mount. The scope mount utilized the Redfield style scope rings, similar to the mount utilized for the 1903A4 sniper rifle. The new Inland T30 Sniper Carbine has been modified with an integrated mount utilizing Redfield style rings. The rifle features an 18” barrel chambered in .30 carbine, push button safety, round bolt, “low wood” walnut stock, 10 round magazine, and a clamp-on style conical flash hider.

The T30 carbine is available with a vintage style M82G2 Sniper Scope by Hi-Lux. During WWII, one of the riflescopes chosen for the M1C Garand sniper rifle, as well as the Remington Model 1903A4 Springfield pattern bolt-action .30/06 sniper rifle, was the 7/8-inch tube 2.5x Lyman Alaskan, which was designated "TELESCOPE M82". Primarily the M82 was used to turn select rifles into very effective longer range (600 to 800 yards) sniper rifles. The M82 scopes were utilized in WW II and were called upon again for use during the Korean Conflict and in Vietnam during the 1960's. Hi-Lux Optics totally re-engineered this scope design from the inside out, to produce the clearest, brightest and most reliable scope of this type ever manufactured - and we're proud to add it to our lineup of Inland products. The goal was to bring to the Vintage Sniper Rifle competition shooter a top quality scope that surpasses the quality of the WWII/Korean era originals. Externally, this scope is the spitting image of the original. Internally, this scope is far superior, due to the high quality multi-coated lenses for remarkable light transmission and exceptional clarity. The new M82G2 scope offers more windage and elevation adjustment than the original, with a total of 80 MOA for both windage and elevation, and is the perfect match for the new T30 carbine.

In 1941, with the US being pulled into one of the greatest conflicts in world history, a division of General Motors was tasked to support the war effort.

The result was firearm history with Inland Manufacturing becoming one of the largest gun manufacturers in the US, producing nearly 3 million firearms in less than 5 years.

The most notable of Inland's firearm production was the .30 Caliber M1 carbine and the folding stock variant, the M1A1 Paratrooper model.

Dayton, Ohio was home for the original Inland company, and is now the home of the new Inland Manufacturing located just two miles from the original facility. Today's Inland Manufacturing is now producing a new line of .30 caliber M1 carbines and 1911 style pistols.
